This project focused on the design of a placemat for the meat house MONADIKO, sponsored by Pepsi. The aim was to create an engaging visual piece that would enhance the dining experience while promoting Pepsi in a subtle yet impactful way.
The design features a bold red background, setting a vibrant and energetic tone. At the center, a large sculptural “M” — representing the MONADIKO brand — anchors the composition. Around it, a carefully staged scene unfolds: a stylish couple enjoying burgers and Pepsi, a playful puppy, a server carrying a tray of food, and small urban details like a potted tree and a bicycle. The elements come together to tell a story of connection, relaxation, and urban life.
Pepsi’s presence is seamlessly integrated through branded glasses placed on the table, reinforcing the idea of Pepsi as the perfect companion to a MONADIKO meal. The placemat is designed to be functional for diners, yet visually striking enough to leave a lasting impression, turning an everyday dining item into an effective piece of brand communication.
Through a dynamic color palette, storytelling-driven layout, and clean typography, the placemat reflects the energy of MONADIKO and the refreshing spirit of Pepsi — making every meal a more memorable experience.
