The coffee cup design for BaristART was developed around a visual concept connecting the art of coffee preparation with discipline, precision and mastery.
At the centre of the project is a stylized female character inspired by the traditional Japanese geisha. Her distinctive silhouette and kimono-inspired attire were reinterpreted through a contemporary, minimal illustration style, symbolizing dedication, refined technique and the pursuit of excellence.
The concept is closely connected to the statement “MASTERING COFFEE”, featured on the cups. Together, the character and the statement express a philosophy in which coffee preparation becomes an art defined by knowledge, skill and attention to detail.
The graphic compositions combine the illustrated character with the brand's monogram, enlarged symbols, repeating geometric patterns and carefully arranged typography. A controlled palette of deep blue, white and warm beige creates visual consistency while allowing each cup to develop its own distinctive character.
Particular attention was given to the cylindrical form of the cups, ensuring that the illustrations, patterns and typography maintain their visual balance across the curved surfaces.
The result is a coordinated series of designs where illustration, symbolism and graphic composition transform an everyday coffee cup into a recognizable expression of the BaristART identity.

Ο σχεδιασμός των χάρτινων ποτηριών καφέ για την BaristART αναπτύχθηκε γύρω από μια εικαστική ιδέα που συνδέει την τέχνη της παρασκευής του καφέ με την πειθαρχία, την ακρίβεια και τη δεξιοτεχνία.
Κεντρικό στοιχείο αποτελεί μια αφαιρετική γυναικεία φιγούρα, εμπνευσμένη από την παραδοσιακή μορφή της Ιαπωνίδας γκέισας. Η χαρακτηριστική σιλουέτα και η ενδυμασία που παραπέμπει σε κιμονό αποδόθηκαν μέσα από μια σύγχρονη, μινιμαλιστική εικονογράφηση, συμβολίζοντας την αφοσίωση, την υψηλή τεχνική και τη διαρκή επιδίωξη της τελειότητας.
Η ιδέα συνδέεται άμεσα με τη φράση «MASTERING COFFEE», που εμφανίζεται στα ποτήρια. Ο χαρακτήρας και η συγκεκριμένη φράση εκφράζουν μια φιλοσοφία όπου η παρασκευή του καφέ αντιμετωπίζεται ως τέχνη που απαιτεί γνώση, δεξιοτεχνία και προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια.
Οι γραφιστικές συνθέσεις συνδυάζουν τη φιγούρα με το εταιρικό μονόγραμμα, σύμβολα σε μεγάλη κλίμακα, επαναλαμβανόμενα γεωμετρικά μοτίβα και προσεκτικά οργανωμένη τυπογραφία. Η περιορισμένη χρωματική παλέτα, με βαθύ μπλε, λευκό και θερμούς μπεζ τόνους, εξασφαλίζει οπτική συνοχή, διατηρώντας παράλληλα τον ιδιαίτερο χαρακτήρα κάθε εφαρμογής.
Ιδιαίτερη προσοχή δόθηκε στην κυλινδρική μορφή των ποτηριών, ώστε η εικονογράφηση, τα μοτίβα και η τυπογραφία να διατηρούν την οπτική τους ισορροπία πάνω στις καμπύλες επιφάνειες.
Το αποτέλεσμα είναι μια ενιαία σειρά σχεδιαστικών εφαρμογών, όπου η εικονογράφηση, ο συμβολισμός και η γραφιστική σύνθεση μετατρέπουν ένα καθημερινό ποτήρι καφέ σε αναγνωρίσιμο στοιχείο της ταυτότητας της BaristART.
